11 - 15 October 2021 | Virtual Event
New Space
The Φ-week programme includes a multitude of interesting sessions and insightful content, not just within the main programme, but also in the form of side events, e-posters, and e-exhibitions. On this page, you can learn about what this community-driven content is about.
The details of the side events, e-posters and e-exhibitions will be published on the event platform. They are freely accessible to the registered Φ-week attendees, just like the main programme sessions.
The Φ-week side events are short thematic sessions addressing a specific topic of interest, in line with the objectives of the Φ-week 2021. They have a dedicated speaker list and include audience interaction. The side events are held during each afternoon of the Φ-week, as well as all Friday, which is a dedicated side event day.
See below the list of Φ-week side events. The description of each side event can be found on the detailed programme tab.

The Φ-week e-posters are scientifically-minded presentations whose theme is linked to one of the sessions of the main programme. You can access e-posters any time during the event, but there are also dedicated e-poster sessions in the programme, when the authors will be available to have a live discussion about their topic.
The event platform contains online facilities to have a live chat and book 1-1 video between the e-poster authors and the audience. This allows you to discover more about the ideas, science and innovation directly from the authors. In order to stay on the cutting edge of new scientific insights and technology about Earth Observation, these e-posters are something you don’t want to miss.
The Φ-week e-exhibitions are like booths at a conference venue, only virtual. They are opportunities for all the players in Earth Observation to showcase their key messages and contributions to the community and the industry. For you as a Φ-week attendee, e-exhibitions allow you to get to know these companies and organisations, network with them during the event and discover what opportunities they may offer to you, be they your potential customers, suppliers, partners or employers.
You can access e-exhibitions any time during the event, and you can also propose dedicated meetings with the e-exhibition owners during the week upon accessing the virtual booth.
